Hi, I'm Simon. I build things.

I've been coding since I was seven, when I opened one of the Commodore VIC-20 computers my step-father was selling door to door. I was hooked as soon as I saw my first program fill the screen with VIC20s.

These days I make mobile and web apps, usually with small teams solving specific problems.

I'm currently a full-stack developer at Wave Digital, working on apps across health, education, government, and startups. Most of my work is in Rails, Swift, and Flutter, with Terraform for infrastructure. I like building end to end, keeping things simple where possible.

I love the freedom to work from anywhere. I've been to every Australian state and territory, and I'm converting my Ford Transit, Harrison, into a campervan for the road. You can follow those adventures at Wandering Wal.
